Our 5th Year students on the VLM Immersion trip have safely arrived in Kenya! After touching down in Nairobi on Friday evening, the group made their way to SVP Catholic School – Thigio, where they will be volunteering over the coming days.
Today was a truly unforgettable experience for the boys. They began their day by visiting local families within the community – a powerful and humbling opportunity to connect with and learn from the people of Thigio.
The afternoon was filled with stunning scenery and cultural discovery. The group took in breathtaking views at the Rift Valley viewing point, explored the lush green beauty of a local tea plantation, and even enjoyed a bit of shopping on their journey back. A perfect chance to pick up some local crafts and souvenirs!
The students are embracing every moment of this unique experience, building friendships, broadening their perspectives, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
