A huge congratulations to our athletes who achieved outstanding success at the 123.ie All Ireland Schools Track & Field Championships held at Tullamore Harriers Athletics Club over the weekend.
Theo Duffy was crowned Inter Boys 1500m Steeplechase National Champion, producing a superb performance to claim the title and add another All-Ireland Schools championship to the school’s growing athletics success.
Conrad Latham added to the celebrations by becoming Senior Boys 800m National Champion. Conrad timed his finishing kick to perfection, showing great composure and race awareness to surge past the field and hold off the challenge of long-time leader Odhran O’Sullivan (Bruce College, Cork) in a thrilling finish.
To have two All-Ireland Schools National Champions in one weekend is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication, commitment and hard work of our athletes and coaches.
