At St. Paul’s College, we place great importance on preparing our students for life beyond school.
Through our Career Guidance programme, led by our dedicated Guidance Counsellor, Ms Hickey, students are supported as they explore their strengths, interests, and future pathways.
Career Guidance provides students with the tools to make informed choices about subject selection, further education, training, and career opportunities. Ms. Hickey works closely with students to help them identify their individual goals, offering one-to-one support, workshops, and access to up-to-date resources on higher education, apprenticeships, and the world of work.
Each year, we host a Careers Evening, where professionals from a wide range of fields, including medicine, accountancy, engineering, science, marketing, and more, meet with our students.
The event allows students to move between tables and take part in short one-to-one conversations, giving them valuable insights into different career paths and the realities of working in various sectors. This experience helps students make more informed decisions about their future studies and careers.
Our aim is to ensure every student leaves St. Paul’s confident in their abilities, equipped with knowledge, and ready to take the next step on their journey.
