St Paul’s Minor Soccer team took on St Declan’s last Friday at St Anne’s Astro in a thrilling encounter.
After falling 3–1 behind, the boys showed tremendous character and determination to battle back and draw level at 3–3. Unfortunately, St Declan’s snatched a last-minute winner to take the game 4–3.
Goal scorers: Carson Perry, Louis Beausang and Joseph Murray
Well done to all the lads on a fantastic effort. They showed great resilience and team spirit throughout. Hard luck, boys!
A big thank you to Sean McGrath for taking photos of the match.
