Since the Christmas holidays, the school has had new attendees; 12 chicken eggs!
Over the course of 21 days, the eggs will be incubated and go through the stages of development, maturing from embryos to fully grown chicks. After enjoying a week in the school, the chickens will be returned home to their farm – Nore Valley, Co. Kilkenny
Ms. O’Connor, a member of the Green Schools Committee is incredibly happy as the project ties in with her groups push for the biodiversity flag saying: “It’s great to get the whole school involved in the green schoolscommittee’s efforts.”
