On Friday 27th February, 19 brave TY students took on the cold conditions sleeping outdoors in order to raise important funds for the homeless communities of Ireland. The sleep out took place in the back yard of the school and all of the money raised has gone to DePaul, the schools charity partner. The students managed to raise over 1600 euro which is a credit to them and their hardwork fundraising for this worthy cause. They also managed to have some fun in the process, their enthusiasm for the event made it for an enjoyable evening for the 5 teachers who volunteered also.
