Our U16 and U19 basketball teams finished their league campaigns on a high yesterday, with two fantastic wins against St Aidan’s.
The U16s put in a brilliant performance, showing great attacking play with strong drives to the basket and excellent shooting. Their defensive hustle and determination were equally impressive. A special mention goes to Seán Shanahan, who had an outstanding game, scoring an incredible 26 points!
The U19s were equally impressive, dominating the rebounds and producing some superb fast breaks. Excellent passing and teamwork created fantastic scoring opportunities, with their fast-paced attacking play tiring out the St Aidan’s defenders and leading to some brilliant baskets.
Well done to both teams on two great victories and a fantastic finish to their league campaigns!
